March 2025

March 30, 2025 - Pastor Brandi

“Living from the Inside Out: Developing a Heart of Worship”
Pastor Brandi Harasimowicz of The Point Church calls believers to rediscover worship as a lifestyle of surrender, not a ritual or song, teaching that worship is born from intimacy with God, where our new heart and spirit respond to His indwelling presence through obedience, reverence, and love. Using biblical examples from Abraham to the woman with the alabaster jar, she reminds us that true worship always costs something—it’s the daily yielding of self to the Spirit of God. Worship is not an event but a continual offering of our lives as living sacrifices, expressing the holiness, devotion, and relational love God designed us to carry.
Pastor Brandi challenges believers to examine what they may be withholding from God. Worship is a “reasonable service” (Romans 12:1–2)—offering our bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to Him. The message closes with a call to allow the Holy Spirit to sanctify every part of life—spirit, soul, and body—so that all we do becomes an act of worship, revealing Christ to the world.

Scripture References:
*Ezekiel 36:26 God promises to give His people a new heart and a new spirit, replacing their heart of stone with a heart of flesh—symbolizing inner transformation and renewal through His Spirit.
*Jeremiah 24:7 God pledges to give His people a heart to know Him so that they will return to Him as their God. It emphasizes restoration and genuine relationship.
*Romans 6:6–11 Paul teaches that believers are united with Christ in His death and resurrection—set free from sin’s power and called to live as new creations in righteousness.
*Romans 8:2 The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set believers free from the law of sin and death. Freedom through the Spirit replaces bondage to sin.
*Genesis 22 Abraham’s faith is tested when God asks him to sacrifice Isaac. God intervenes and provides a ram, symbolizing faith, obedience, and God’s provision.
*John 4:4–26 Jesus speaks with the Samaritan woman at the well, revealing Himself as the Messiah who offers living water—true, eternal life and worship in Spirit and truth.
*Matthew 12:6–7 Jesus declares Himself greater than the temple and teaches that God desires mercy over sacrifice, highlighting compassion above religious ritual.
*Matthew 21:12–13 Jesus clears the temple of money changers, declaring it a house of prayer. It’s a call to purity and reverence in worship.
*Mark 12:41–44 Jesus observes a widow giving two small coins and praises her for giving more than others because she gave out of her poverty—an example of sincere generosity.
*Luke 7:36–50 A sinful woman anoints Jesus’ feet with tears and perfume. Jesus forgives her sins, teaching that those forgiven much love much.
*Amos 5:23–24 God rejects empty worship and calls for justice and righteousness to flow like a river. True faith must produce right living.
*Isaiah 1:19–20 God offers blessing for obedience and warns of destruction for rebellion, urging His people to choose submission and faithfulness.
*Philippians 4:18 Paul thanks the Philippians for their generous gifts, describing them as a fragrant offering pleasing to God. It highlights generosity and partnership in ministry.
*Romans 12:1–2 Believers are called to present their bodies as living sacrifices and to be transformed by renewing their minds—living holy lives aligned with God’s will.

"Compromised Roots: Digging Deeper for Lasting Growth in Christ"

Chase Harasimowicz delivers a powerful, introspective message urging believers to confront the hidden compromises that prevent full maturity in Christ. Through self-examination, obedience, and the courageous act of vulnerability, Chase Harasomowicz teaches that believers can uproot spiritual decay and cultivate a thriving relationship with God. By allowing the Holy Spirit to “search and know” the heart, Christians can move from complacency to completeness—advancing not just as individuals, but as a unified body walking in victory and wholeness in Christ.

*James 1:23–24 – Be doers of the Word, not hearers only

“Christ in You: Living the Law of Love”
