February 2026

February 15, 2026 - Pastor James

Pastor James Harasimowicz continues the "Best Sermon Ever Told" series drawing from Matthew 5:13-16
(13)"You are the salt of the earth, if salt looses its saltiness how can it be made salty again?
It is no longer good for anything but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
(14)You are the light of the world, a city on a hill cannot be hidden.
(15)Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bushel, instead they put it on a stand where it provides light for all in the house.
(16)In the same way let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven"

Pastor James builds upon the foundation of "The Greatest Sermon Ever Told" over the previous weeks "Blessed are the... be-attitudes" to the conclusion that when we TAKE CAPTIVE EVERY THOUGHT TO MAKE IT CAPTIVE TO CHRIST (2 Corinthians 10:5) we are living in radical love, loving everyone regardless... Operating out of God's abundant resources to cultivate the garden of our heart where we fellowship with the Father. Choosing to put on His righteousness rather than our own, and allowing the kingdom of heaven within us to be manifested through love, forgiveness, and obedience even when confronted with injustice, offense, or hardship; contrasting peacekeeping with peacemaking, warning against entitlement and self-righteousness, and urging believers to cultivate their internal garden to reveal God’s presence and power in our every circumstance.

February 8, 2026 - Pastor James

Pastor James Harasimowicz continues the "Best Sermon Ever Told" series drawing from Matthew 5:10
"Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven"

Pastor James builds upon the foundation of the previous weeks "Blessings" to bring home the point that true persecution is deeper than name calling and not about whether you're liked by everyone; true persecution is being experienced in countries where to declare yourself as a Christian can cost your life.
Pastor James centers on preparing believers to stand firm in righteousness amid trials and persecution by fully embracing their identity in Christ, choosing to put on His righteousness rather than their own, and allowing the kingdom of heaven—within them—to be manifested through love, forgiveness, and obedience even when confronted with injustice, offense, or hardship; contrasting peacekeeping with peacemaking, warning against entitlement and self-righteousness, and urging believers to produce “kingdom fruit” when pressed, the sermon calls for intentional spiritual preparation, disciplined speech, joyful endurance, and wholehearted surrender so that, like a seed that dies and brings forth life, Christians will reveal God’s presence and power in every circumstance.

February 1, 2026 - Pastor Brandi

Pastor Brandi Harasimowicz continues the "Best Sermon Ever Told" series drawing from Matthew 5:9
"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God"

Continuing the walk through of the Sermon on the Mount and the Beatitudes as a transformational lifestyle, not merely a teaching series. Pastor Brandi frames the current season as “birth pains,” emphasizing that God is aligning His people to become a spotless bride and a living habitation of His presence rather than continually pleading for God to “show up.” The major theme is identity in Christ: believers are not meant to remain trapped in a “sinner saved by grace” mindset, but to live from the reality of being made new, righteous, raised with Christ, and empowered to live holy. Grace is presented not as permission to continue in sin, but as divine empowerment to live free from sin. The sermon transitions into the Beatitude “Blessed are the peacemakers”, teaching that purity of heart is required to truly make peace. A key distinction is made between peacekeepers (who avoid conflict, manage appearances, suppress issues, and seek comfort) versus peacemakers (who pursue truth, reconciliation, healing, and Spirit-led confrontation for the sake of unity and righteousness). The church is challenged to deal with offense, bitterness, resentment, and division because unity is essential for the body of Christ to function. To illustrate peacemaking, the message highlights Abigail (1 Samuel 25) as a model who demonstrates humility, mercy, courage, and reconciliation—preventing bloodshed and ultimately inheriting blessing. The sermon closes with a warning against bitterness as a “poisonous root” that corrupts many, followed by communion and declarations affirming identity as children of God and commitment to be peacemakers. The service ends with an exhortational word encouraging believers to return to daily communication with God, read His Word, seek His guidance before decisions, and trust His forgiveness and love.
